Jon Schmenk
Associate Golf Architect

Professional Experience
Jon received his education at the University of Wisconsin and holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.  Jon has worked with us for 8 years but previously spent 14 years with the golf course architecture firm of Gill Miller Design in River Falls, Wisconsin where he was responsible for the design of such noted courses as Joseph Bartholomew Golf Course in New Orleans, Louisiana and The Meadows at Mystic Lake in Minnesota.  Jon has been involved in all aspects of the golf course design business from conceptual routings and grading plans to construction oversight and project management.

Responsibility
As an associate designer at Herfort Norby, Jon has been actively involved in numerous projects including Coal Creek Golf Course for the City of Louisville, Colorado, Braemar Executive Course & Driving Range renovation in Edina, Minnesota and the 27-hole renovation at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
